Jade Zheng, partner of a Shanghai-based design studio, is a US licensed architect with 15 years of professional experience in the UK, China, US and South Korea. She has participated on a wide range of projects in the sectors of culture, education, commercial and health care. Her forward-thinking and sustainability-oriented design approach has brought unique solutions to various projects and won numerous international awards. Jade has broad interest in design beyond architecture. She enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and searching cross-boundary solutions suitable for specific cultural context. Jade was guest critic for Architecture Department of Pratt Institute (New York) and Tongji University. Being a mom, Jade believes that “design thinking” is the key to help young children engage the world around them, also bring positive change and impact to the world.
