Playground Design

In our Lift Autumn workshop ArchiMakers had the opportunity to design their own playground.

The group used different representation techniques such as plan drawing and diagramming.

ArchiMakers were introduced to an existing playground located in a park and use that as their creative drive to create their own design.Through this task the ArchiMakers developed high level of creative abilities.The outcome of the workshop was amazing as the kids were actively engaged with the task and developed communication skills in their speaking and drawings to represent their ideas. The kids also got inspired by each other's work which is a incredible thing for a young designer. This task also gives an insight into the kids playful mind as their drawings shows off storytelling skills and innovative ideas.
