Ancient Rome Workshop
Archimake workshop introducing elevation drawings and model making skillsÂ
In our autumn workshop ArchiMakers learnt about drawing and model making techniques.
The group was challenged to create architectural elevation drawing and model of the Pantheon in Ancient Rome represent a story line.
ArchiMakers where introduced to key terms such as Columns and Roof during their model making.
Through this task the ArchiMakers developed high level of problem solving skills, making skills and critical thinking abilities to communicate a narrative. The outcome of the workshop was amazing as the kids were actively engaged with vibrant pieces of work as their end product. They could also understand how the Romans influenced architectural styles of London too.
