Archimake workshop introducing section drawing representation.
In our second autumn Islington workshop ArchiMakers learnt about architectural structures and drawing techniques.
The group was challenged to drawing a section of a building using a storyline as the brief.
ArchiMakers used fine liner to draw their section outline and then colour in to get an understanding of different materials and how it could be represented.
Through this task the ArchiMakers developed high level of imaginative skills and develop their own unique narrative which is reflected in their section drawings.
Curriculum subjects included Art, Design Technology, English (reading, reading comprehension, literacy)
