Project Review Video Catalogue
Huge thanks to our Guest Reviewers May Tang Architect & Senior Associate at Heatherwick Studio and Alan Bloodworth, Civil Engineer at TEDI-London – Archimakers received excellent feedback on their projects.
Our project records have grown over the years, we are now working on sharing these in our Project Review page on our website. In addition to the inspiring projects Archimaker's have created, we have the insightful presentations from leading industry Guest Reviewers. The time required to create the database is quite extensive so there is a small charge per view, in order to maintain the ability to build this resource. We envisage this will be useful for educators, designers, researchers, and parents, not to mention Archimaker's themselves.
Bronze Award Progress
We’re extremely proud of all our Bronze Award Archimaker’s who have not only completed a challenging design project this term, but also are very close to completing their Bronze Award submission! We will be assessing Archimakers in January 2023. If you are one of our Bronze Award children, try to keep the momentum up so its all wrapped up before end of term and enjoy the holidays!
Spring Term 2023
We start the new term on Sunday 15th January 2023 and in schools the same week. If you haven’t booked your next terms place please do so soon as we are arranging the class lists.
Remember for Sundays in Kings Cross we have NEW TIMES starting at 12pm, 1.25pm and 2.50pm. Please ensure you book you place soon so you can be assigned your preferred time slot. Each class is limited to 10 children and if the time you would like to attend is full, we will offer an alternative time or an online place.

Northbridge House Prep Workshop Summary
Childrens University Westminster Workshop Summary
In the workshop the children explored the use of folding techniques one being the origami technique. They also got to see how origami can be used with materials such as wood.
Northbridge House Senior Workshop Summary
Skills developed during the modelmaking workshop; Understanding how sustainability can be incorporated into architectural design
Kings Cross Workshop Summary
All of the children produced some really creative designs including looking at how air would circulate in a building passively and also looking at sustainable materials. One of the students was inspired by the Origami workshops we had previously held looking at the Angel Wings by Heatherwick and how transparent solar panelled glass could be used. There was also an exciting use of colour in many of the students designs. I'm very proud of everyone who attended and some exceptional designs produced this week.
